2. You might not come first: You might not always be a priority, the person’s kid or kids might come first, but that should deter you since it means he or she is a good parent.

3. Earn their trust: If the person is a single parent, then it means they were formerly in a relationship that did not work out. Therefore, it is important to earn his or her trust to make it work.
